Monticello

My parents were here, as I just mentioned, for Parents Weekend and Pumpkin Parade. They drove down from Philadelphia on Friday night, stayed the night in Charlottesville, and then came down to Lynchburg yesterday morning. We went out to Starbucks for brunch, and then we went to R-MWC's riding center, where I had never been in my four years here. Mom says that I should take a riding class next semester, just for fun. Parents Weekend

Parents Weekend is over! Last night was Pumpkin Parade, a very exciting, wonderful Randolph-Macon tradition. At 8:15 Anne and I lined up outside Smith Hall, all dressed up in our robes, funny hats, and pupkins. My sophomore, Tegan Morton (who I know from chorale), had carved mine with Shakespeare on the front of it, and it was wonderful!
