Tomorrow our school's fall break officially begins. It essentially four days (beginning Friday at 6pm and going until Tuesday evening) where we go on break. Its not a particularly convenient time to go on "vacation-" break usually falls before midterm exams, so we spend the break working our butts off- studying, writing, etc. For example, I'm still going to be here over break because I have to go to class on Monday and Tuesday at Sweet Briar. Recently, the VP appointed two people to be senators in the senior dorm, Webb Hall. Elections for these positions, unlike the other senator positions, are not held in late spring, but in the early fall. Nobody ran for them, so Erika appointed people- oddly enough both of them are best friends with two of the executives (one with the secretary, one with the treasurer). I am so sick and tired of Student Government. I’m dividing this post (actually a rant) into several sections, because you are going to get bored very quickly of my complaining. I've been a senator in Student Government for the past two years. I really like it; but lately I’ve gotten pissed off at some of the things that have been going on.
