My daughter has been unemployed for a month - well, actually, a little over a month, if you look at the calendar. I'm starting to go into something of a panic attack about whether or not she is able to get a job at any point in the near future. This is true despite the fact that I have Plan B in mind for her - I hope to hire her as part of my promotion team for the book Garfield is writing. Well, Garfield's male human is feeling much better. Yesterday, he apparently had a touch of the stomach flu; he had some concerns as to whether he'd be able to finish out the day at work. (No, I won't gross you out by going into nauseating detail.) Fortunately, things turned out OK in the end (if you'll pardon the bad pun), and things went well the rest of the day.
