I never cease to be amazed at the generosity of people. We got a phone call today from the social-concerns director of our parish, offering us most of this month's rent. I have been reading the comments on Garfield's blog religiously, and I noticed that the positive news she delivered is going over very well, for which I am grateful. We still have problems, however. Specifically, we still have a great deal of medical debt from all my hospitalizations this past year - five separate hospital stays in three different hospitals since August 2004.
