I've written letters to Habitat for Humanity, in the hope that my pestiness will pay off in more rapid service. Since the letters will not be sent out until Monday, they won't get there until later in the week, which means I won't have results until then. That's better than waiting on the bureaucracy to grind slowly, and it's actually more rapid if you think about it.
