MONDAY IS WASH DAY. IT'S THE LAW!
When I was little and would stay with my grandparents, every Monday, without fail, grandma would do the wash. She would have clean sheets out on the clothesline even in bad weather. I remember one Monday it had snowed. The whole world had turned white. All the same grandma had her wash out to dry, or maybe freeze. You might say you couldn't tell where the sheets ended and the snow began. But, well, the sheets were actually whiter than the snow! I have often wondered how she did that. Back then I...
