Meetings, meetings.

Siberia has departed, the snow has almost gone and we're left with two odd shaped lumps of snow on the village green which were once flourishing snowmen, complete with carrot for the nose (courtesy of the Village Stores). Siberia

Managed to get to both services this morning, but had trouble getting home again. We woke to several inches of snow and it's been falling on and off all morning. Snow!

Woke to a smattering of snow today, which for us in the Southern hemisphere of the UK is something to remark upon. Interviewing

Spent yesterday as part of the interviewing panel for a new Archdeacon. This is fairly revolutionary for the Church of England. The Worship Course

Led the first session of the Worship Course in a neighbouring parish last night. They have a trainee Ordained Local Minister (OLM) who has to take the course along with a team of laity who support her. Ducks And Ducklings

Just back from taking tea with Mollie. Well, taking Home Communion to Mollie actually, but part of the ritual is taking tea with her. Urgent Call

Got an urgent phone call last night from Lucy, Tim's wife. Tim is the priest who's getting well and truly stuffed under the Clergy Disciplne Measure. A Eunice Fund

Started a fund today for Eunice. Eunice is from Zimbabwe, but has ended up in our little village here in South Norfolk. She was in Birmingham when a friend showed her an advert from 'The Lady' (a very upmarket magazine) for a housekeeper. Eunice answered it and hence arrived here, to keep house for... The Office

Did the Parish Office this morning. We have a kind of surgery system on a Saturday morning for an hour, where anyone can call in for any reason. Injustice

Life is so unfair! I've just had a phone call about a good friend of mine, a priest whom I respect and whose work I admire.
