We Are Human Beings, Not Human Doings
There is a statement I learned many years ago that has always stuck with me: “We are human beings, not human doings.” For me, this statement, though short on words, is long on meaning. A human being is one who just is. He or she is one who lives in the moment and understands that all that really matters is that current moment. The past is done and cannot be changed.
