Grasping At Anything To Brighten The Tarnish

Iraq War Turning Surreal

Iraq announced today that they were going to strangle the insurgency in Baghdad with a blockade ringing the city with checkpoints. Nine Americans Killed

Fourteen American soldiers have been killed in the last three days, due to roadside bombs, carbombings, and drive-by shootings. Over 60 Iraqis have also been killed. No End In Sight

The Spectre Of Civil War

Two things lead one to believe that Iraq is degenerating into a civil war: One: the escalating violence in Iraq since the democraticly elected government was sworn in, over 500 killed, 18 today, including an oil official.
