Shopping Shopping and Shopping

I may have gone overboard with the shopping for Yvette and Blake but Brooke and Lupe` are going in with me on the wedding gifts I bought. Brooke is still in Las Vagas and won't be home until noon tomorrow. Lupe` works with Yvette and me so we decided to go in on a gift. I was going to get a set of dishes they wanted but it was marked as filled on the registry. They are registered at Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond. Two Weeks to the Wedding

I can't believe we are two weeks away from the BIG day. The wedding shower is Sunday. I wrote Yvette and Blake a poem so I am getting them a double frame to put it and a wedding picture in. I think I will also get them a silver wedding book I saw at Bed Bath and Beyond. It holds 100 4x6 pictures. So I must go shopping today. Oh snap!! The Party Girls are Here

Midnight and Spunky are here until Sunday. I figured Jim would leave yesterday but he stayed until late today taking care of the girls while Brooke and Scott are in Las Vagas. The girls were so happy to see their Granny. Rosie is playing hostest and thank goodness is learning telepathy so she isn't barking and trying to get caught up on doggie gossip. Chapter 5 Remembering God

As angels we are born and as angels we will return. Our goal each lifetime is to remember the goodness we are to bring with us and to follow our spirit heart and not the ego. As Richard and I walked our path, many angels were given to us along the way. The most important was the hospice volunteer who came to read the Bible to Richard every week. Las Vagas Wedding

I just watched the Wedding of Brooke's best friend stream live from a chapel in Vagas. Brooke was the Maid of Honor and Scott was Best Man. They all looked so beautiful and handsome. I can't wait for Blake and Yvette's wedding. Waterproof mascara for sure. I'm already misty eyed everyday just thinking about it. I wish Richard and Mom were physically here to enjoy all our fun. A Big Day and My Past Life Story

Three weeks until the wedding. I met with Blake, Yvetter, Kavira, Kamote`, and Uncle at the Holiday Inn to finalize the reception. They decided on table placement and decorations, buffet set up and picture slide show placement. They are having a DJ with a lot of 80's songs and African songs. Wide Screen

I just figured out that my blog is wide screen and hard to read. I was showing Blogit to a writer friend of mine at work. It evidently has been so since November. I don't know how to fix it. A New Chapter of the book

This has been the hardest chapter for me. I really can get on a rant when it comes to religion of fear. I hope I have contained myself and relayed the message I wanted. One very Proud Mother

Day before yesterday I got this text from my son and it said clear your Saturday afternoon. Yesterday moring when I was on my way for my massage with Mona, I got a text that read: Brooke and Yvette please pick up your Moms by 3:30 and have them at the Carnagie Hotel spa by 4pm. I reserved the afternoon for all of you Love Blake. I mean really how many other sons would think of anything so nice for the ladies in his life. The story continues

Am I Dying Today? Skye2006 I awake to the movement in the bed as he tries to sit up on the side of the bed. I wait with halted breath to see if he can stand up by himself this morning. He stands and begins to shake his right arm as he tries to move his legs. His whole body shakes from the tremor. Finally, his feet move. He takes two steps and then shakes again. The Journey continues

I as the caregiver could not choose the comfort measures for him. He had to choose to give permission for me to care for him. He had to choose to accept the measures given. He had to choose to let these measures comfort him. So, although I had skills that could have eased his discomfort, I had to learn I was not a failure because of his belief in suffering. The Book

I think I have finally gotten Richard's story written the way I want it with the message I want to impart. I have posted variations in the past but it was too complicated. I think I have uncomplicated it. The first two Chapter remain essentially the same relating Richard's transition and how we met. A Shot of Rocephin and all is well

I had to go to the walk-in clinic on Monday for the UTI because I wasn't getting any better and my doctor was booked. I got to see a nurse practitioner who used to be at my doctor's office. She is so good. She ordered me a shot of Rocephin and changed my antibiotic. I am finally feeling better. Yvette had her fitting for her wedding dress today.
