Feeling Soooo Much Better and Healing the Fibro and Chronic Fatigue

Well, I got two antibiotics by Wednesday morning. I had the prescription from my FNP filled and then they told me I had two more prescriptions. They asked me if I wanted them so I got two antibiotics and something for nausea. I almost didn't get the antibiotics in time and by last night my temperature was going up fast. I really felt awful and was afraid I was getting pylonephritis. I have had it once before and never want it again. My temperature went from normal to 104 in an hour and I was so... A Rough Couple of Days and Retirement Contemplation

I've had a UTI since Friday and the natural interventions have not worked. As a result I have been miserable the past 2 days. I sent my doctor a copy of the urine analysis I ran yesterday and called but she didn't call me an antibiotic in today. I finally confided in one of the FNP's I work with and he wrote me an antibiotic but I can't get it filled until tomorrow. The pharmacies were closed by the time I got off. Memories and Moving Forward

I am still working on putting all my blogs in my book and I am up to February 2009. I had to stop for a few days because it has been too emotional. I am still amazed at how I was able to take care of Richard here at home. Of course I couldn't have without Spirit intervention, Angels, Guides and your support. I shall have to dedicate the book to all of you. There is much editing to do but I am going to try to keep the entries in the tense they were written to keep the experience for the reader... Where Has the Time Gone

I just saw it had been 10 days since my last entry. It has been busy at work and last weekend I did swing therapy and meditated to my heart's delight. I have also managed to get my house cleaned up and under control for the first time in months. This weekend should be easy to catch up and start a new project of de-cluttering. A Great Three Day Weekend

I have the grand dogs all weekend and they were all perfect ladies and a gentlemen. Well the Buster Duster had to be talked to a time or two. He would stir things up and run away. He would then peek his head around the corner as if to say: "What are you guys doing that for?" Spunky had a seizure this afternoon but it was a small one. I just have one thing to say

The next time my horoscope says: Don't leave the house today, I'm not leaving the house. Yesterday was a day with an ending note of hurding all the patients in the clinic out of rooms into the center hallway to sit until the tornado warning was over 2 hours later. There were 2 touch downs in Gray that headed to Kingsport and then one in Jonesborough that was suppose to be headed to JC. We Be Having Some Fun Now

OMG My nurse providers have started working 12 hour shifts so they can have an extra day off per week. This now means that instead of seeing new patients and work-ins from 4-8, there will be established patients. Tonight we had 10 patients scheduled from 4-8 and the last 4 were Spanish speaking only. So while the interpreter/chart puller was interpreting, I had to pull the charts for tomorrow for all the providers. It would seem like a benign action but by the end of the day, it is hard for me... Migrant Clinics

Yesterday was my first migrant clinic. We saw 20 men at the farm where they work in two and a half hours. Our clinic is setting up two migrant farm clinics this year. We transport everything we need to see the workers at the farms. We set up a portable lab, evaluation station, give out medications from our donated over the counter and donated medications and give out diabetic glucometers. Just When Everything Was Going Great

I woke up with strep on Tuesday. I got an antibiotic immediately but the Fibro flared in a great way. So, I was kind to me and took a day and a half off and I did not push myself. I'm learning that me, myself, and I come first. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day and then it is Saturday and I'll be off. Sunday I have to work the afternoon at a migrant camp helping to give medical care to the farm workers. I have really got to work more on my Spanish. I am learning more words but I can't... Brooke Graduated and theWedding Dress is Here

It has been a full week and a half. Wheeeeeew!!! Brooke graduated from King College last Saturday with a Bachelors in Business Administration. She missed honors by.0008. I had to park a mile away and walk and got to the ceremony just as she was entering with her group. I had let Jim off so he didn't have to walk as far and he had saved seats with Scott. Tornados and Work, Work, Work

It has been a busy week. We didn't get any damage from the storms but surrounding areas did. I still spent 2 hours in the basement at Blake's urging. Jim got hit hard in Knoxville and the hale damaged his houseboat and car. He has gotten the notion that he is moving into my downstairs apartment for FREE. I told him it wasn't happening. Chart reviews again

The chart review this time is for my clinic and I will be reviewing the charts prior to the audit to make sure all is well. I have spent the day studying HEDIS and the markers that will be evaluated. I have been given the task to orient the staff to what is being evaluated and what is expected of their documentation and scheduling and patient accessibility and monitoring, BY NEXT FRIDAY MORNING. A Night Out With the Girls

Well, another first for me as a single. I went out to eat with the girls after work tonight. It is the first time we have all been out and it was to support L's mission trip to the Phillipines this summer. Chili's is giving a ten per cent discount and donating a portion of the price of meals bought to her church for the trip. We had a good time but I was ready to get home by 10:00. Now I'm wide awake. A NORMAL DAY! Got Mother of Groom Dress

The acupuncture is working. I now have more energy and felt so good today. I don't remember the last day I felt this good. I also got my dress for the wedding in the mail today. I look GOOD if I do say so myself. I did say so myselfLOL. It matches my shoes perfectly. Now for losing that roll mid abdomen or cinching up with a corset.LOL Yvette loved it.
