Paying the Price

Happy Birthday Richard; Why Did You Cut Your Foley Tubing Again?

Happy Birthday Richard. It was a happy day. No visitors. Quiet and we slept late. We had Chicken Squash Casserole ala' Skye. The antibiotics had kicked in and we both felt better. Today was Dr. day and it was a long day. I wokeup feeling really bad. Richard was coughing up green mucous. Revolving Door Today

As usual the day started at 3am he was wheezing but had an expiratory wheeze that would not clear. I woke Tom up to listen to his lungs and get his input on what else to do since this wasn't going to be resolved with lasix. A Big Day

One of Richard's dreams has come true. His nephew Tom came to visit him and spent the night. They have both had a good time. Richard sat up all day yesterday and today.
