A prayer almost 40 years earlier popped into my head...

As I sat there on the couch that day with the news of his betrayal swirling in my head, my mind went back 39 years earlier………….the night before I married him. I went to the cemetery today...

My sister died on this day 3 years ago. When my older sister began to get sick was about the same time I found out about the affair. My sister didn't last very long after getting the prognosis of pancreatic cancer. Most people don't live past 6 - 8 months when they finally find out what is hurting... Sign in to see full entry.

They are coming...Before I withdrew from the world, I use to

I begin my story...as a Survivor

To begin my story, I thought of going back to when I was 18 which was the time I married. I am a Survivor...I have never told my story till now

but through writing it, I hope that I will finally be able to heal. I was betrayed by my husband of 39 years. I am a Christian woman who has walked through every emotion of pain and suffering imaginable. I am not perfect and I have accepted my part in our broken marriage. Have I forgiven him? Yes.... My co-worker just came in and told me of a miracle that happened at her elderly mom & dad's home last evening. Her father has been blind for the past 10 - 12 years due to the macular degenerative disease that many people suffer from. Her parents are in their 80's. His wife, on occasion, would put... A funeral today............it could have been mine?

The special aunt that helped my single mom when we were kids has died. The funeral will be graveside today. Three out of four children are still living but it will be a small private funeral. When she entered the nursing home, her children knew it was just a matter of time. Are we ever ready for...
