So, I've been doing this job search for about five months now. I swear, I'm an expert on how to find a job. The only problem is--I don't actually have a job myself! I've been doing everything I possibly can--networking, etc.--but nothing is turning out. I've even considered looking for jobs in other industries. I've been applying for jobs in retail but keep getting told that I'm overqualified; I've tried to get temporary wor through an agency but that didn't work, either due to an unfortunate... Last night--on November 9th at approximately 6:20 pm, I had my first sighting of Christmas and the Holidays. Yes, folks, Thanksgiving is more than two weeks away, but the Holidays are already being shoved in our faces--starting with Starbucks and including more and more establishments as the next two months progress. What happened??? Oh, great, I thought. So now every time I go for my hot chocolate in the morning, I'm going to have to drink out of those red holiday cups? Can I demand that I be...
