Well, it finally happened...

Judith Regan of Regan Books (an imprint of HarperCollins), which attempted to publish the OJ Simpson book If I Did It, has finally been fired. Regan had been headbutting with HC CEO Jane Friedman for a long time and was axed on Friday. Even though Regan is gone, the imprint will continue, even though its future is in question (the offices are in LA even though the rest of the HarperCollins company is in New York).
