Pies And All That
It is here...really here now. The leaves are turning quickly and are so vibrant when the sun shines upon them and when the breeze gently causes them to stir. Chrysanthemums are in bloom everywhere and pumpkins begging to be turned into jack-o-lanterns. All that talk about pumpkins on my other blog...

It's Always Something
Suddenly the sound of a rushing water torrent...and another water-main break announces itself. This one is just outside my window. It has been going for an hour now and the amount of mud and water washing down the parking lot is amazing. The hole is getting deeper and wider all the time, and closer...
