I just got an e-mail from Pay-Pal! It said someone had just paid me $63.47! At first I was thrilled! Just as I was about to click on the link to view the details of the transaction it occurred to me that nobody 'owed' me $63.47. Yeah, it was a hoax! I sent the e-mail to 'spoof-mail at pay-pal' and they verified that it wasn't from them. Whew! If I hadn't stopped to think who owes me money I might have logged onto a phony site and whoever sent the e-mail would have access to my bank account! Of... Sign in to see full entry.

I recently heard that N.A.S.A. has 'misplaced' the original recordings of the moon-landing from 1969. Seems that they have been looking for them and about 1,000 other transmissions for over a year now. How could they 'misplace' something that important? Now if my crazy uncle were around, he would probably say: "See I told you! It was all a fake! This proves it!!!" I think if it was really a fake it would have looked, more realistic. I make lists of almost everything. You know...lists of things to get at the grocery store as I run out of them. I have the beginning of a list on the kitchen counter. I am out of mustard, so that is on the list. Ice cream is on sale, that is on the list too. I also have a list of things to do. This would list things like, take out the trash, do the laundry, water the plants. Now a strange thing has been happening to my lists. My subscription has ended. I had to cancel the credit card Shaycom/blogit had on file...I lost the card. Then when I tried to log on to give them the new number, all I could get was a message that I couldn't establish a secure connection.(webtv) I sent them a check, but I guess it takes more that two weeks for them to credit my account. Their help page says it takes three to five weeks. It has been two. I guess I will just have to be patient. So goodbye for now, I hope. You are a great, OK... Sign in to see full entry.

Well, "plum smart," is what they are calling, well what I used to be known as prune juice. On TV they say it is for digestive health, 100% juice, and it looks more like cranberry juice than it does yucky prune juice. So I bought some. I couldn't tell in the store if it was any different than plain old prune juice. It was a lot more expensive though. Also it has grape juice in it and apple juice too. I got it home and tried it. Do you remember Hee Haw? You know the corny country music TV show with Buck Owens, Roy Clark, and an entire cast of corn pones. Grandma liked the music; so I was stuck watching it more times than I can remember. Then---here comes a confession---I discovered I liked the comedy. Yup...I would laugh at that corny stuff. One of my favorites characters on the show was Minnie Pearl. Every time she came out, with the price tag hanging off her hat, I would laugh. Sometimes you could see the price of her... OK. How many of you remember E tickets at Disneyland? Anybody? Well the first time I got to go, the price of admission got you into the park and a book of tickets for the different attractions. An A or B ticket would get you a ride on the bus or allow you to sit on a park bench. OK not really. But the A & B "attractions" were really lame. We always had a few of those tickets left. I hate sitting in waiting rooms, especially at the dentist's. But I've found a way to pass the time without getting too anxious. I eavesdrop. I know. I know, there are no eaves at the dentist's office. But I make do. I bring my own and drop them! The other day while trying to ignore the screams from the examination room, I listened to a conversation a rather tall lady was having with the receptionist.
