Veterans of Writing Contests...I Need HELP!

I'm entering BOMC's new writing contest, and the rules are a bit unclear. I'm supposed to take an author's first paragraph and "continue the tale in 500 words or less." More Adventures With the Surly, Incompetent Server

I went back to Perkins this morning, and I got the same server! I ordered exactly the same thing as I did yesterday, but today I left $2. Why?
