Veterans of Writing Contests...I Need HELP!

I'm entering BOMC's new writing contest, and the rules are a bit unclear. I'm supposed to take an author's first paragraph and "continue the tale in 500 words or less." So, does that mean continue to the end, or just write up to 500 words laying out where I would take the story if I were writing a... Sign in to see full entry.
