Because I’ve been with my lady, Marilyn for about sixteen years, to her 8+ and 6+ year-old grandkids, I’ll always be “Granpa.” These two scamps are named Ivy and D.J. I finally got the instructions from Blogit on how to change categories, to "Everything else." I'm still going to give this a try. Let's hope it turns out to be a good change. As I said, we humans resist change, instinctively. Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Autumn is without a doubt, the most beautiful season. As the grasses brown, the colors of the wildflowers pop; making the fields that looked only green during the summer, look like a bouquet weeks later. Maybe knowing that snowdrifts and howling blizzards are just around the corner makes fall even sweeter. Spring is mostly too cold with mud and slush, summer is too hot and grass needs cutting almost each weekend. The only thing that winter has going for it is the fact that you can cocoon indoors...
