I can't believe that this was less than a year ago! According to the date on this email, when I sent this to my dad, ( among the last he ever read ) it was March, of '09, but it feels as though it was much longer ago, than that. First off, let me tell you I have nothing whatever against those who are Catholics. I'm not crazy about the Catholic Church heirarchy, but I could say the same thing about every organized religion, political party, and those who judge others and feel qualified to decide what should be done to them, their families, their lives and their treasure. Questions of Life & death. Do ONLY Woody Allen and I, wonder about these?
Is it morbid curiosity to wonder what will be the last thing that I will see, as I die? Will it be one of those overhead lights in a hospital emergency room, or oncoming headlights? Will it be the face of a gunman, or an EMT as he futilely fights to save my life? Will my last conscious moment be spent looking into the eyes of loved ones?
