Today was hot, most of the East Coast, about 95 degrees. We went for ice cream at the Brewster's stand. We ordered cones of ice cream and found a shaded bench. It was a race against time, the cream was melting faster than we could eat it. It was funny. We drove home, several minutes later the... Sign in to see full entry.

Finding a needle in a hay stack..
Do you think it is possible to find a needle in a hay stack? It may be harder to find a hay stack. Just when did you see a hay stack? I think they roll up the hay these days. I see them in the country as we drive about. In the olden days perhaps it was stacked in the silo..that would be a stack.... Sign in to see full entry.

Intimate and special feelings
Sometimes I am overwhelmed with surprise at what will stimulate. Yesterday was a special kind of Sunday with activities to interest us both. We were involved with family and shopping and eating lunch in a restaurant. Today we worked at home, doing fun things and some not so much fun. Tonight there... Sign in to see full entry.
Sensational feeling again
It is wonderful being with my husband. The tenderness we share is special and the feelilng of love making is genuine at any age. Wow, I said that in public, well to my dear Blogit friends. More info on the way, at present on the way to change some legal papers. Have a great day, hot and humid... Sign in to see full entry.

Thirty minute wait for IHOP ?
I have decided that nobody cooks on Sunday, hardly any day, by the looks of the restaurants. How many times a week do you eat in a restaurant or take out food? I think this country is in serious trouble about this healthy cooking. Fast food is FAST and then the slow food is generally fried. I wonder... Sign in to see full entry.

Well, it was in the 50's and probably not too popular, but I was working in Manhattan and visited the Theatre when my pocketbook would allow. The song I refer to is delightful, it continues, "lazy and lovely, my one day with... Sign in to see full entry.

Honeymoon, warm days, cool evenings, ocean breeze

We celebrated and then returned home for a few days of catch up with gardening and meetings (can you believe that?) Then off to the ocean for a week. All went well, honeymooning fun..... Nothing going wrong?
WE are off for a few days at the beach. The car is loaded, why do we carry so much stuff? The weather is terrific. The sounds of the summer traffic indicate that school is out. I hope your family and especially your children are enjoying these days. Nothing to complain about here, so this post will... Sign in to see full entry.

Dinner for two
I could not believe the kindness of this stranger. On Sunday, after Church, M. and I went to have lunch at the Alpleby's restaurant nearby my house. As often is the case, we waited for a booth/table. We were sitting in the foyer when a young woman came in doing the same thing we were, waiting. We... Sign in to see full entry.

I got to tell you, it is wonderful
being married to Michael. We spent the first few days after the Wedding here at home, catching up with life. The ceremony was wonderful and we enjoyed our guests. One thing about being older is that your guest list is pretty diverse. We had a doctor, a minister, several foreign visitors, relatives... Sign in to see full entry.
