What are some internet behaviors you can't stand? I'll begin. 1) People who IM you with their personal porn website, claiming to live 15 minutes away from you. How did this person get my postal address, and why do they think I would be interested in their porn site? 2) Spam e-mails that advertise Viagra and kiddie porn. I'm normally the kind of person who likes to solve all her own problems. IE, I don't let anyone else know about it, sometimes until the problem becomes so big that I can't deal with it any more on my own. And sometimes there are those moments where you simply can't help yourself. That happened to me today when I was coming home, where I finally broke down and cried. You've no doubt had the pleasurable experience of writing a resume for yourself. You know, you take everything you've ever done professionally (or at least your last three jobs) and try to make them sound much better than they actually were. Then you exaggerate your personal traits, and call yourself "dedicated," and "responsible," and "highly motivated." Its all a bunch of bull, because you can't talk about your personality on paper. Have you ever had a parent who worries too much, in general? My mom is like that. She worries about me, my sister, and the world in general. She'll stay up all night worrying about the littlest thing. Her current bout of worriness comes with the end of my internship- today is my last day here!:-(. First, I check my school e-mail about four times a day, even when classes are not in session. I would not normally classify myself as obsessive-compusive; but when it comes to e-mail, I am.
