The crazy lady strikes again

This is Robin's husband with another update on her condition; First off Robin wants to thank all of you for your prayers over the last month. Yes it's been a month all ready since we had to take her to the hospital. She's doing pretty good right now. Thursday she started walking on her own but she's still weak and gets out of breath fast if she does too much. This is Robin's husband with another update on her condition. Sorry I haven't written for awhile but with going back to work and keeping up Robin's other blog as well as visiting her in the evenings my time is limited and I do have to sleep some time. Robin is progressing very well so far. She can sit up by herself and gets both physical and occupational therapy at least two hours a day. This is Robin's husband with another update on her condition; I'm going back to work tomorrow because my boss wants me to and I need to as well.. So my updates on Robin's progress will not be as frequent since I'll be visiting her after work and I need to sleep sometime. This is Robin's husband with another update on her condition; She was moved to a rehab center yesterday afternoon to continue her recovery. I know she was nervous about the move because of her bad experiences last year but we were assured that her Physical Therapy would be more aggressive than last time (three hours a day) and I made certain that it might include some computer time so she might get back on line. It's Robin's husband with another update on her progress so far; She's coming along nicely and her recovery is going well. Yesterday She had Physical and Occupational Therapy(they had her on her feet for the first time in a week and she said it felt funny) but the most important thing yesterday(at least as Robin was concerned) was that the Doctors took the food tube out and she started eating soft foods yesterday afternoon in the hope that she will get stronger. This is Robin's husband with an update on her condition; Thank you for all the prayers toward Robin as they seem to be helping. We went to visit her on Friday and she was much better than the day before. Even the Intensive Care staff are calling her recovery a miracle right now. She had her first Physical Therapy session today while my daughter and I were there. They worked on her legs,arms and had her take her first bites of food. This is Robin's husband with an update on her condition; Robin woke up yesterday and was awake when I arrived. I have to confess that I pretty much lost it when I saw her eyes open and looking at me. I had prepared myself for anything when I arrived. It didn't help that I had been on pins & needles since about 4 AM either so I guess my emotions were justified. This is Robin's husband with an update; As for an update we did get some good news today when we went to visit Robin.Her fever finally brokeover the last 24 hours and her white cell count has dropped greatly. They are keeping her sedated while she's on the ventilator but tomorrow at 7AM (Central Time) the Doctors will take her off of the drugs keeping her asleep and assess her status which should tell us if Robin sustained any damage to her brain because of the infection. This Is Robin's husband updating you on her condition. As for Robin's condition it's not too good right now. She's very sick with bacterial meningitis and has been semi comatose for a few days. They are filling her full of antibiotics in hope that her body can fight this. However 27 years of taking autoimmune drugs for her kidney transplant makes it hard. A note to the readers of this blog: The writer was suddenly taken to the hospital on 02/11 with a very serious case of meningitis.
