I was in Wal-Mart, minding my own business, when I heard something. It may have been the words "Buy Me!" in a high voice. I turned and looked. this is what I saw Ok I admit I took the picture after I got home with the plant. Since I got it home it has been blooming like crazy. I just now noticed...the one in the upper center looks like it is winking. Thanks for looking in! Don't you think that middle pansy is winking? I know the picture is a tad blurry but still. What do you think? Bo says... Sign in to see full entry.

KING BO!
Bet the first dog can't do this! Yeah, MY Bo jumps up on the picnic table and lets the whole neighborhood know that he is 'The king of the world!' Just like that guy it the movie. "Titanic." Golly I hope Bo doesn't end up the same way. He is safe as long as the table doesn't hit an iceburg! Thanks for looking in! I don't think the table is going to sink any time soon. Do you? STOP! OK...CAN WE TOTALLY PAUSE?
Yeah, at least, totally pause. I've heard about a "rolling stop," but couldn't really imagine it. To me it's just running a stop sign. I find it hard to do. But then I also turn on my turn signal when I am going to turn, and not just as a practical joke. What has me thinking about all this? Well, yesterday I was a little late taking Bo for our walk. Or, he was late taking me. This isn't usually a problem, but this time it was. We headed down the street and past the high school, just as school... Sign in to see full entry.

THAT 'BO' LOOK!
Yes, this is the look that Bo gave me when I first told him that all we had were crumbs of milk bones. It's sort of the same look that fish had when I saw it over at Wal-Mart. I haven't been back there but I did see a couple of those fish at my bank. The bank manager had left her two fish in the care of the account manager who was helping me with my account. There was a red one and a blue one and they were separated by a piece of glass. Also the top was covered. Evidently these are fighting fish... Sign in to see full entry.

THE BO FISH?
No No not blow fish. BO fish, as in a fish that reminded me of Bo the wonder dog. Here's what happened: Late last night, well it was almost dark, I discovered that I was out of milk bones for Bo. All that was left were two or three pieces at the bottom of the box. I gave them to Bo who looked at me like, "What's that? How am I going to burry that?" "That's all we have." I told him. "We'll get some more tomorrow." Now you know that he kept nagging me until I said, "OK!!! We'll go up to Wal-Mart.... Sign in to see full entry.

UP IS DOWN
I never really noticed, until recently, how Dow Jones NASDAQ and the S & P green stamps, (whatever) go up and down through the day. But now on my MSN home page those totals alternate with the local weather. Funny thing, the local temperature is almost always a positive, while the Dow and what not is too often a negative. The first time I noticed it listed as unchanged, I wondered what that meant. Because the weather is never unchanged. They always make up some change, or if it is the same it is... NAIL POLISH NEVER GETS OLD!
That's what I thought. At least unless it just dries up. I mean when you open the bottle, and it comes out in chunks you can be pretty sure it is time to throw that bottle away. Unless, you can rub some of the chunks on your nails and see if it sticks. They don't. I tried. Then sometimes an old bottle of nail polish looks like it is all right. I mean it looks like it is still liquid inside. So you try to take the top off. But it is stuck. This seems like a good thing because if it has really... Sign in to see full entry.

A SOLUTION!
Yes the wind is still blowing...but I am not going crazy anymore. Been there too long. Passed it twice! Here's what happened. A friend came over and took down the vent covers leading to the air conditioners. One by one he handed them to me. They were really dirty. So I had to clean them. I'm crazy but not lazy. While I was doing that my friend stuffed a trash bag with old newspapers and put it in the vents. Then he cut a cardboard cover to help hold the sack of papers in the vent. Once he did... CAN YOU FIX IT?
When it comes to fixing things around the house, some people swear by that old standby 'DUCT TAPE'. Now while duct tape is very useful, and comes in a variety of colors and sizes, I find that super glue and twist ties help a lot too. Not to mention an old fashioned hammer a crowbar and super gluer remover! Of course the hammer and crowbar can be used to unstick the duct tape and superglue...also nail polish remover...when you discover you put everything in the wrong place. Not to mention... SHIFTING GEARS!
SWITCHING GEARS? When I first learned to drive I learned on both a stick shift and with automatic transmission. Since then I have driven mostly automatic. It's so much easier. You just put it in drive and go. I still remember how hard I thought it was to shift gears and not pop the clutch, or switch gears while watching for other cars stop signs and actually staying between those little white dashes on the road. But I also remember that neat feeling when I finally got the hang of it! So I was... Sign in to see full entry.
