Yes. That was a question my dad asked every night after we adopted Bo and I brought him a nice little basket from Wal-Mart. When I first got that basket my dad said,"He's not going to use that!" Then, as if to agree with dad, Bo sniffed his new basket, went "Harrumph." snorted and walked away. It was later that night Mom caught him getting comfortable in the basket and snapped this picture. I got this in an e-mail and just had to share it! Holiday Eating Tips I hate aspects of this time of year.  Well not really, but am I the only one, or is everyone getting a message at the top or bottom of their favorite TV shows warning you that on Feb. 17, 2009 your TV will no longer work un-less you get a digital converter. Then ordering us to rush to some website to find out more. What worries me most, outside from the fact that it took me several tries to get the web address written down correctly, is that I thought I was watching the program through the digital converter/tuner on my DVD... I was trying to figure out how I could get free WiFi...High speed internet. Now I know I can get it at McDonalds, Starbucks, even the public library. I figured out how to turn on the camera. So I took this picture while I was at the library. Now MacDonald's is perfect for me! Especially when the library is closed. I love junk food...um I mean Macdonald's fine cuisine.  Is 'pop' art popular art?--As in stuff a lot of people really like? Or is it something else? Like art that someone who knows a lot about art (or thinks they do) likes and somehow put it where people can't avoid seeing it? I don't know. I'm one of those people who doesn't know a lot about art, but I know what I like. One thing I know I like, is pop corn! Now pop corn isn't called 'pop' because it is popular, although it is. Yes, I'm posting a picture of Bo the wonder dog. He had just come inside and is a little windblown. Fur sticking out.  Sometimes the people on TV are so doggone dumb I actually yell at them. Well at the TV anyway. Heck I even find myself talking to characters in a movie. They never listen. For instance every time I watch "It's A Wonderful Life" I find myself telling Uncle Billy, you know Thomas Mitchell, not to put that money in the newspaper! "Take it back to the bank and put it in the safe!" I try to tell him. But every time he ignores me and Jimmy Stewart ends up on that bridge. Since that's where the story... This is a mystery... Ok. I saw this on my neighbors roof and couldn't figure out what it was. At first I thought "Oh they have thrown one of their balls up on the roof instead of into my yard. Ha." I don't really mind, but sometimes Bo eats part of their waffle ball before I see it to toss it back to them. Anyway I forgot about it. Then yesterday morning I happened to notice it was still there. I was just about to get up from my chair to go into the kitchen and get some hot coffee. The cup I had sitting by me was cold. It's too bad too because I had gotten just the right amount of sugar in it. You know, not too sweet, not too bitter, but just right. You might say that the cup of coffee was in a sweet spot or at at least the coffee was. Of course the fact that it was stone cold ruined everything. Cold coffee is NEVER good.  I was just thinking...OW! that hurts!...Um thinking that they have been canning vegetables, meat and even fish for a long time now. Then I have to wonder if any of the first batch of can goods is still around. Then if it is would it be good to eat? Or would it have gone bad. I guess I'll never know...Unless someone who really knows tells me. But then that's not very likely. Is it? I wonder what the first cans were made of? I guess it could have been tin or maybe steel.
