Common sense prevails

Fantastic news! Saw H. (Injustice) yesterday afternoon. She had just had a visit from the police, at which her heart dropped. She felt she simply couldn't face any more bad news. A great sing!

Along with several members of the choir, went to the Cathedral yesterday afternoon. Once a year, the Cathedral invites all church choirs across the Diocese to participate in choral Evensong. A wonderful wedding

Had a wonderful wedding yesterday which quite restored my faith in human nature. The bride looked stunning and was attended by a 'best woman' rather than any bridesmaids. Injustice

I visited H. yesterday. H. is a teacher at the local High School and also a young Mum, which is how I know her. Mystery solved

Ed took my car down to the garage today and they’ve just rung to say it’s fixed. So why do I feel so sceptical and think cynically to myself, ‘Huh! Oh yeah?’ It’s called lack of faith. A mystery...

Cycled down to see Don and Jennie today. Seemed more sensible than risking the car windows. Saw two broods of ducklings with their respective mother ducks crossing the road in front of me. So today I had to drive into Norwich again to the Cathedral. Started out reasonably early (before the hottest part of the day anyway), tried the windows first, just to see. No dice. A visit to the Archdeacon

The hottest day of the year so far and I had to visit the Archdeacon. The first Alpha

Had our first of a very quickly cobbled together Alpha evening on Thursday. Hosted in a beautiful home and on a beautiful evening, so we started by sitting outside in the courtyard with a gin and tonic and smoked salmon. Good way to start a course, in my book.
