Roman Ruines and Barbaric Germans

Yesterday we went further east along the Neckar river than we have ever been! Way to Osterburken, about 1h10 from home by train. Little more about Schwetzingen Palace Gardens

There is a strange feature at the Palace that I forgot to mention. Karl Theodor liked hunting and walking in his grandiose gardens but had trouble seeing the time on the clock from afar. As we had decided last night not to go to our bike tour because of the bad weather, we decided to wake up rather late (around 9am) and take is easy. Our son is in Lübeck with his class for the week. Thank you all for your support! I did pass my test. I don't know by how much, but I did. Ouf! It's done. I now have the official European standard level A3 done. It's a beautiful day but I don't feel like it. I have a Deutsch Prüfung (German Test) this afternoon and I feel like the more I study the more confuse I get. Heidelberg Castle on Fire!

Here's what happened last night. It was the June Schlossbeleuchtung (the Illumination of the castle) and the fire works on the old bridge.
