Boundaries and Bubbles

I was reminded today that the force which makes a bubble happen in the air or under water is the fact of a bit more airpressure pushing out against a bit less pressure, to the point where the pressures equalize. Like those inflatable domes that are sometimes rigged over tennis courts, held aloft by nothing but a greater air pressure inside than outside... Amidst the national discussion of the sacredness of life,

I offer this ru-run of my very first piece on Blogit. Life Finds a Way There was a time I knew exactly who I was, and where I had to go. But I am older now, and know that I know nothing of the sort. Again, Centering: Finding the Light of You

Hello! If you've been playing along with this whole grounding and centering thing, here comes the next bit... The Tree Falls... The Sound Happens Whether I Hear It or Not...

I have this notion that we are always living in the Kingdom, as Manboy expressed it in a recent comment, but that most of the time it seems most of us are blind and deaf mostly, and so unaware. I have my days of better or worse awareness of it, to be sure! According to the Book of Nicodemus

one of the so-called Lost Books of the Bible, Jesus kept busy on His three days between the Crucifixion and the Resurrection. He went, according to Nicodemus, to the Gates of Hell, and opened them, announcing to all there that they did not have to be there anymore. Hell was a different place in those days, of course. Finding Your Own Center

Hello! Here's the next part of centering, promised several days ago... The model of the human energy system that I am working with here is a simple one: seven centers, or chakras in a vertical line, ascending from the First, or Root Chakra, all the way up to the Seventh or Crown Chakra. We are-- ergo: EGO!

I love my ego. I hope you will come to love yours, too. Poor Ego gets such a bad rap! Ego is your self-identity. It is how you see yourself. Self image. It is not a BAD THING! And if you get lost in it, or begin to believe and act as if it is the only aspect of you that matters, or it gets wounded and inflamed, then, yes, you have a problem! Forgiveness is not about forgetting.

It is about letting go, and accepting that what is, is; what has been, has been. There are so many things in a lifetime that call for us to practice a little forgiveness-- sometimes a lot! Insults, slights and deliberate attempts to hurt us... Someone else's mistakes that we end up paying for... Accidents, failures, inconveniences, assaults...
