The Heat and Fish for Lunch

Love of Orchids

I did this watercolor in the hills. It's the first orchid that my sister has grown. I first met orchids in Thailand in the early 1980s. Window Dressing and a Quality of Life

I love venetian blinds. They bring a certain lucidity to views and light I appreciate enormously. I like the way they sit in front of the glass. I started this blog in mid-March 2006 when I moved to Kabul, Afghanistan, for a four-month assignment. In mid-July I moved back to India, and am continuing the blog.
