Tiger Woods was trying to win back-to-back-to-back US Amateur Championships. His 1996 opponent was playing great golf. Tiger desperately needed to win the match-play hole. It was a weird dogleg right. Tall trees lined the right side of the fairway. Woods nailed his drive 325 yards right down the middle. That was a mighty drive in those days, with that 1990's equipment. Last year, our first real hurricane was Irene. In actual, planetary area involved, it was the "biggest" hurricane, ever. As it began to fly up the East Coast, it looked invincible.
