I think I mentioned once that I was going to tell you about...
the weird guy who kept stalking the girls from my publishing program. I'll tell you that story right now. For six weeks this summer I took a course in book and magazine publishing at NYU. It was a M-F, 9-5 kind of thing, with breaks in between, obviously, for lunch and the like. Classes were held downtown, in the Woolworth Building--the Scool for Continuing and Professional Studies at NYU owns the first four floors. Last Thursday
On Thursday night I went out with my roommate and some of his friends from college. One or two I'd met before; the rest I had not. We went to this bar in the upper 50s in Manhattan and got completely, drunk (or most of us; I'm a lightweight, so I only had two beers. Still, I must say that my judgement was somewhat impaired).
