A Tree Grows in Brooklyn for Wednesday, September 13, 2006

I'm addicted to TV. However, for the past three months I haven't had access--when I lived at NYU my parents told me to go out and enjoy the city, rather than sit around on my duff; and now that I live in Brooklyn, R and I don't have cable. We can't afford it, and most of the time we just don't have time. However, occasionally, we'll go out to other people's places and watch--or, if we like a TV show enough, we'll watch it on DVD. I don't have very much to write (or much time, either), but I just wanted to drop a line today. I'm going to be very busy--I have that doctoral thesis editing thing going on, and this morning my temporary boss wants me to go to the New York Public Library to photocopy some information out of a few books. I've never been there; it should be an interesting experience. And, I think I'm getting sick! Probably a cold--I've already got the sore throat, next comes the smiffling! Sign in to see full entry.
