This post was inspired by that of someone I read recently, who says she talks about blogit with her therapist, who even comes on here to see what's going on. Personally, I'd have a hard time telling people I actually know that I belong here. Somehow it seems safer talking about my life with total strangers I've never met than people I've known for years and years. Well, I wasn't exactly fired; it's a temporary job. I guess I should have seen it coming; I was making sloppy mistakes in this proofreading job I've just been on. I guess I should tell you more about the situation. The guy I was working for had recently completed his doctoral thesis through King's College, London, and wants help editing. Don't you hate when, whenever you go into a store or restaurant, there's that one person who is rude and obnoxious to everyone? I'm in Kinko's right now, and there's a woman like that. She's in the cell next to me on her cell phone yelling so loudly and being extremely rude to the person on the other end--who I gather from the conversation, is a service person.
