Ferried across the Mersey for the last time

We went to Susan's grandmother's funeral in Liverpool yesterday. Ivan and Christian came with us and we decided to go by train rather than car as we've had a lot of motorway miles recently. that I haven't written for a while. My wife's grandmother in Liverpool died at the start of the week and everything's been a bit upside down since then. Sleepover time again

Christian has a friend staying with us this evening. He's the same boy that Christian stayed with last Saturday for their 'study sleepover.' Crossroads for Ivan

A broken dream

Christian played his football match this morning, on a freezing pitch in a freezing wind which blew across the Fens and cut into our faces like pieces of fine glass.
