Bo chewed up my Blackberry! I heard some strange chewing in the living room and went in there to find Bo chewing on this! I think I almost finished it when I left it on the end table to check on the laundry. I forgot all about it untill I heard the chewing and found Bo with it. Everyone wants to 'think outside the box.' What the heck does that mean? I've never heard of anyone getting into a box to think. Really if you think at all, you are thinking outside the box. Unless...Well, one year for Christmas I got a doll that was bigger than I was. She was kind of moody and I could never get her hair right. But she came in a great big box. They say black is black. Well it's not true! For a costume party I decided to be cheap and wear all black except for a t-shirt that had skeleton rib and back bones in white on a black background. They glow in the dark and look creepy. So I started with socks. I had three pairs of black socks I had worn at various times, then washed and threw them in the sock drawer. Do you ever use the phone book? I do. Not as much as I used to, but I still use it. The first thing I do after they drop it off on my front porch--Well it is really the second thing I do. The first thing I do is pick the books up and bring them in the house. Then the next thing I do when I get them in is wipe them off. They just drop them right in front of the welcome mat and they are usually covered in dust. I swear it seems like the phone books inhale dust from the front porch. They seem to... I just got a HD tuner for my HD ready TV. Well, it's more than a tuner really. It's a HD DVD recorder/tuner. I saw them at Wal-mart around about Halloween. That's when I thought about buying one. The only thing stopping me from buying then wa the price. It was $239.99 So I waited hoping maybe it would go down. I checked prices after Thanksgiving. Darn! It had gone up to $279.99! OK I turned on the radio and some girl was singing a song about smiling. I wasn't really listening to the words--something about it makes her smile. Nice. Then the singer went into a bunch of Las. It went on so long I wondered if she was ever going to stop La-ing! She finally did, and continued singing. But I have to admit all the la's made me wonder if she was about to pass out before she finished. Yeah, all the las made me smile. Which is funny because I found out later the name of the song is... I was out with a friend who ordered an extra dry Martini. I won't tell you what I ordered...Oh OK, I had a rum and coke, hold the rum. What can I say? At least it's wet not dry...I think. I had to ask my friend what makes that drink, or any drink, dry, much less extra dry? He told me that it has to do with the sweetness of the Gin. The sweeter it is the dryer it is. This could be about the kind of lights you might have on in your bedroom or in the hallway at night. Those are good to light the way to the bathroom in case you have to get up and go. They are also useful for keeping monsters and goblins under the bed and in the closet. We all know that they avoid light. One type of tip could be a suggestion on how to make something work better. Such as: The toaster works much better when you plug it in! Now that is a good tip, especially if you like your toast warm or toasted. Then also a tip can be how to do something better, easier or faster. It's also out of ink! I don't know what is wrong with these pens. I'll be writing along when all of a sudden the pen seems to run out of ink! I look at it and it looks like it still has ink in it. I'll shake it and it will write a few letters then quit again. Now someone told me that if you heat up the tip of the pen with a match or lighter it will start the ink flowing.
