To those of you who are more seasoned bloggers... I've always wondered if, if you change your settings so that people can only view five entries at a time instead of the customary 10, you get more page views? Hi, again. I forgot to talk about my informational interview with the daughter-in-law of my mom's friend. This woman works at Barnes and Noble in a position created especially for her, and has been in publishing for many years. I've been using a career coach to help me, and she suggested that I Google her online, so I did. I learned that, in addition to working at B&N, this woman has worked in marketing at HarperCollins and in sales at Simon and Schuster. She also graduated from a women's... Sign in to see full entry.

I don't have much time to write--I'm at the library on an aged computer that only allows me 30 minutes of use, since the internet in my aprtment isn't working yet. But I just wanted to quickly write and say how much I love it here! The apartment is is in a great location in Brooklyn, with Manhattan just muntes away. Yesterday's move-in went more quickly than I thought it would; my roommate had a few friends help him, plus I had my parents and sister there. Today my roommate is at the first day...
