Life is not so hopeless, after all

I got an e-mail from the associate editor at Parchute. She wants to meet me, too! The meeting is also with one of the women I would be working for. facebook, myspace, and the like

Maybe you've heard about the phenomenon that is facebook. If not, it's an online site for college (and now high school) students, where they can post profiles about themselves, leave each other notes, and essentially connect with one another. I joined facebook last September when my school joined. The thing I like about it, as opposed to myspace or similar, is that you have the ability to control who looks at your profile. Temporary work

I have a temp job, which I found through the Madison Avenue Temp Agency. The job is only for three days, today tomorrow, and Friday, and its basically clerical work: answering the phone, etc. The place I'm working in is the registrar/student housing office of the New School University, on Fifth Avenue.
