Is yet more treatment really necessary?
Yesterday, I heard a story on WGN-TV's noon news, which piqued my interest. It was about the disparate treatment of black and white drug addicts. Although blacks represent only about 15% of the general population, blacks are far more likely to suffer legal consequences for drug-related offenses (such as possession or possession with intent to sell).
