THANK GOODNESS FOR THE LIBRARY! I like to read, but there is no way I can buy all the books I want. Thanks goodness for the library! I can read all the books I want then by a copy of the ones I think I might read again, or use for reference. Recently I've noticed that other people when they read library books leave various things in the books. I was in the library looking for a few good movies to check out. There were quite a few people in the movie section trying to choose something. The library sometimes have new releases...But those were all gone. That's what I get for going late Friday afternoon. Classics are good though, and they have a lot I haven't seen. Yep! It's over my head! (Rim shot!) Cough cough! OK, so I noticed the ceiling on the sun porch was cracking up. (aren't you?) Maybe I should paint it. I was glad it didn't leak, even after the foot and a half of snow melted. The first thing I did was get the feather duster and knock the cobwebs out of the corners. Whew! Lots of dust dirt and a few bugs came down! Also a few feathers from the duster stuck in a couple of the corners. They are pretty up there. My feather duster is bright purple.... I was tired of taking off my glasses each time I wanted to read something close up. So the last time I had my eyes checked I asked the Dr. to add a reading prescription to my glasses. When I got the glasses they told me it would take a while to get used to them. I figured that would be true because when I first got glasses it took a while to get used to them. Ever since my dad had a new sliding glass door and screen installed on the back porch I've been irritated, bugged, oh just face it I don't like the ugly wood 'molding' that the three stooges who installed the doors put up. Dad managed to hire three guys who didn't have a clue how to take out the old doors and install the new ones. They fooled around for several days. Do you have any files? Most people have a lot. I have a whole cabinet full of important papers, tax returns, paid bills, checking account statements, insurance policies, family records, like birth and death certificates are all filed away. In going through the family files I recently found my dad's military records that includes the letter he got that begins "Greeting," Copies of his honorable discharge are there too. Wow! It must be true it was in "Parade" magazine. The soloflex--you stand on it and it exercises you. I think it said something about g-load accelerations causing physiologic improvements. The picture shows two feet with pink fuzzy slippers and a little dog on what looks like a small platform. Guess what? It says it works for doggies too! Do you like jello? I remember the ad on TV that said, "There's always room for JELLO!" I guess that's true. Sometimes eating jello is like eating cool slimy air. Some flavors taste like air too! Not fresh air either, more like inside air that doesn't smell good but doesn't really smell bad either. It's just empty--smell wise. I guess it still has oxygen in it or we would all keel over or at least get a little dizzy. I guess it could be called flavorless air! Which brings me back to jello. There...
