That is the official state question. Red or green what? Is the unofficial question. Ummm well maybe chairs? tennis balls? Hey that might be neat to have red or green tennis bails. They would be easier to hit. Red would be easier to find in the grass, but not green, at least when the grass is green. I bought a paper shredder at "Target." They had them on sale back in September along with a lot of other school and office supplies. They had several different shredders on sale. The cheapest was $9.97. That one would only shred one sheet of paper at a time. It was also very small and would only take paper 7 inches wide. Most written matter is at least 8 inches wide. Ok, I'll admit it. I have a lot of stuff in my purse! Everything but the kitchen sink! If I could figure out how to get the sink in there it would be. In my purse that is! I was cleaning out my purse tying to figure out what makes it so heavy. Maybe it's my wallet, let's see. There are a few dollars, two credit cards. Woops! One of them has expired. Loud noises sometimes make me jump. How high I jump depends on how loud the noise is. Now I hardly notice the sonic boom of a jet going over the city. It's loud but muffled by distance. A sound that usually doesn't bother me is the wind blowing. But when it blows hard enough to whisk the side panel off the neighbor's air conditioner and into the side of my house. Poke who after dark? They are actually broadcasting guys sitting around a table playing poker. What's next? Late night watching paint dry? Maybe they can swing by my kitchen and tape a few hours of my faucet dripping. That would be much more interesting than what they had on the other night. I couldn't sleep so I got up and turned on the TV. Usually about that time of night there is some comedy show or a re-run of Jay Leno. Not this time! Nooo! As I explore this house I grew up in, I am finding a lot of stuff I didn't even know we had. For example while changing the lightbulb in the hall closet I noticed several bags on the top shelf. I always thought those held pillows. I was wrong. They are actually handmade quilts! Some of them look very familiar. There is a yellow and blue one with rings that I think was on my grandparents bed when I was little. Then there is a red and white checked one. It's the Purina checkerboard! I think it is... There is a new comercial for potato chips where they show someone putting chips on bread to make a sandwich! How unhealthy is that? It does sound like my kind of lunch! OK, I might make it a little more healthy by using whole wheat bread. Gotta get my fiber! I am really not too sure how healthy whole wheat bread really is. I like it. Recently on the TV news they have been reading off a "LAW" that says "Each property owner is responsible for clearing snow ice and any other obstruction from their driveway accesses and sidewalks!" (OK. I put in the exclamation point) I looked it up...there is also no time limit and no penalty for not doing it. Of course I didn't find out that last part until after I almost killed myself clearing off my sidewalk. I could have just waited for it to melt! Darn! Now I know. Next time I won't have...
